Born of 1980s garage Rock scene on Long Island and the 1990s grunge Rock scene, Moss has endured the trials and tribulations of performing in many bars and festivals on the long island music scene over the years.
Mark hanna and Patrick Leonard are the founding members of Moss . Mark Hanna guitarist / producer songwriter has played the New York bar scene for over 30 years . He is also played for 2 years in the popular Shanghai China Prog rock band Cold Fairyland. Patrick Leonard has played many years also on the Long Island music scene as vocalist and bass player and writer.
Moss is currently working on new music and constantly trying to innovate and come up with groundbreaking songs. Combining elements of Rock funk grunge reggae country bluegrass.
We are currently working and playing with Russel castaldo a young and talented technically gifted percussionist Russel has studied drums with John sawicki the long standing drummer with the Broadway show stomp.
Moss has an excellent live show that is a cut above the rest.
