The journey into performing and songwriting started for Katie Ainge at a young age. She spent her childhood and teens years experimenting with various musical instruments, creating a strong foundation for how music is constructed. At age 14, with the influence of her grandfather who played Bass guitar in 60’s Rock and Roll bands, she picked up the Bass guitar and started a band with her brother writing all the songs they performed. After that Katie was hooked on Music. She learned the Acoustic guitar and started performing live solo shows at local coffee shops, restaurants and Venues.
In the years following her childhood and teens she has recorded 4 albums and 2 EP’s. The first album she wrote was with her band “Arienette” and was filled with life experiences that were happening in her life at that time. It was titled “The Hardest of Fights” and the song “Hardest of Fights” was based on losing a friend in a tragic car accident and never being able to see them again. Katie’s 2nd album brought peace to her life as she wrote a Christian worship album entitled “Then Sings My Soul”. This album was inspiring and brought with it a “Song of the Year” award for her song called “He is Here”.
In 2013, Katie released her 3rd album “Now or Never”. This album would have her sweet song “Fond of You” which would be featured a few years later in the season finale of the TV show “The Fosters”. It is this album that launched Katie on the path to finding her Indie Folk Singer Songwriter music genre. Katie continued to write and record 1 more full-length album “Thrive” and 2 more EP’s “Ashes” and “Still Alive”.
Katie Ainge has had in her career the opportunity to share her music across the United States. Traveling the Country gave her the chance to perform at all shapes and sizes of Venues. Connecting her music with many people while making many friends along the way.
Katie currently teaches High School music classes during the day while performing and writing on the side. Teaching the love of music has become her new passion.
Later in 2025, Katie will be releasing a new song “Atmosphere and Airwaves” written about her engagement and marriage to fellow musician Tony Aman. She is looking forward to sharing her experiences and love with her friends and fans.
