Bobby Murray

Bobby Murray is a 25-year-old singer-songwriter and recent Bowdoin College and Berklee College of Music Graduate. While undergoing a fellowship in songwriting and poetry in Nashville, Bobby was profoundly influenced by the classic country sound. Having spend his life studying and performing R&B and blues, Bobby’s music quickly adopted a country twang, elevated by his rural upbringing in Yarmouth, Maine. While jazz piano was his concentration in college, Bobby now carries just a guitar to shows, singing everything from Ray Charles to Morgan Wallen.

Since then, Bobby has spent the last few years following another passion of his: poetry. With help from author and poet Anthony Walton, Bobby has published a poetry manuscript titled, “The Vienna Secession,” and received a handful of awards, two of which come from the national poetry publication, poets.org. Bobby is currently working on new music that follows his country/singer-songwriter style.
