Lina Maxine is an active gigging and recording alternative artist born in LA, and currently based in Montauk, NY. After completing a graduate degree in neuroscience focusing on sound perception and emotion in 2021, Lina jump-started her professional musical career in London, UK. Discovering and self-navigating the world of music production, publishing and promotion Lina built up her audience, with her debut EP “Mind Games” gaining over a million streams. Shortly after forming a full band, Lina went on to support Tom Meighan (formerly Kasabian) nationwide across eight O2 Academy locations, including the iconic O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire stage. Delving beyond the surface to build her unique and authentic sound, Lina learned from and collaborated with notable producers, engineers, and musicians locally and internationally eventually settling into a creative partnership with Dean Aladay (credits from ROLI) to write and produce her second EP “You’re My Only Friend” with another production credit from Pete Hutchings (Royal Blood) in May 2023. The EP garnered over 160k streams and was critically acclaimed by the likes of Wonderland, Notion, Earmilk, and Ladygunn magazines.
